ASIA-PACIFIC LEADERSHIP PROGRAM (APLP)

Requirements: Participants must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute of higher learning and must apply to the University of Hawaii at Manoa in conjunction with this program, and are expected to cover transportation costs
Description: A 9-month long program that includes 5 months of intensive study at University of Hawaii at Manoa and 4 months of an additional project (in Hawaii or elsewhere).

CHANGING FACES WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

Requirements: Women from Asia, the Pacific Islands and the United States from all relevant professional backgrounds, including business owners, government and industry policymakers, and civil society organization leaders. Successful candidates will have 5-12 years of work experience with demonstrated ability to innovate.
Description: “2010 program will focus on the important role that innovative entrepreneurship plays in contributing to economic growth and job creation. Some travel stipends are available but participants should expect some cost-sharing.”

Description: 10-12 month assignment provides assistance to businesses and organizations in USAID-assisted countries such as Indonesia
