Seiji Masuda Endowed Scholarship in Public Policy for International Students

Requirements: This scholarship is renewed the second year automatically, if they maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA which is required to stay in the program.
Description: Established in 2004, the Seiji Masuda Endowed Scholarship in Public Policy for International Students was created to provide scholarships for international students from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Brunei on the basis of merit and need. The student only needs to mark “yes” to the question, “Do you want to be considered for a scholarship?”  If they are admitted then they will be reviewed for scholarship.

Description: This grant is for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers who are Indonesian citizens and wish to pursue their research activities in Indonesia. Grants are given for research in any field of contemporary and traditional Indonesian Studies, with preference given to applications focusing on science and technology, broadly understood; women’s empowerment; food security; and Islamic Studies and/or Indonesia-United States Relations.

Requirements: Indonesian citizens, preferably 35 years or younger. College or university graduates with a strong record of performance in their S1 or S2 degree program. A minimum iBT TOEFL score of 55 (test date no earlier than June 1, 2011).
Description: Arryman Fellows spend one year conducting research, studying English intensively, and taking graduate classes for credit in preparation for doctoral studies. They are then eligible to receive six-year awards from ISRSF as Arryman Scholars to pursue their PhD in the United States at Northwestern University in Chicago.

AU EMERGING GLOBAL LEADER SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS (AU EGLS)

Requirements: To be considered for the scholarship, candidates must be secondary school students (not university students) applying as first-year (freshman) students for the fall (August) 2013 semester. Preference will be given to international students who have overcome various obstacles and challenges as well as those from diverse and under-represented global and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Description: The scholarship provides full tuition, fees, room and board for one first-year (freshman) high-achieving international student who will need a visa to study in the United States (preference will be for those who need an F-1 or J-1 student visa). It is renewable for a total of four years of undergraduate study, based on continued satisfactory academic performance. U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents or dual citizens of the U.S. and another country, are not eligible to apply.

IIE STUDY AMERICA: THE UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM
